Day-old chicks are available for shipment 
on Monday of each week starting in April going through July.

All day-old chicks are shipped Post Office Priority Mail.

What makes OAKWOOD GAME FARM different?
Shipping day-old chicks through priority mail has been a common practice of safely shipping day old game birds for many, many years.  Priority mail is carried by commercial airlines.  What is different about OAKWOOD is that our hatchery is located only 60 miles from a major Northwest Airlines hub in Minneapolis/St. Paul which gives us a multitude of daily direct flights (no transferring to other carriers) into cities across the country.  Your chick order arrives early the next morning at the local post office with a minimum amount of stress on the birds.  This is extremely important for getting your chicks off to a good start!

We guarantee 100% live shipment.  
We also include 4% extra chicks with each order.

All orders are shipped on a first booked basis, so it's important to order early.  
Every effort is made to ship on the date you request.

25% down payment is required to secure the order, including pick up orders. 
If the pick up order is not claimed, the deposit will not be returned.

Payments for orders are due four weeks prior to shipping.  Orders are subject to cancellation if not received by this time.
